What is a Christmas Goat?

The countless feasting and celebrating around the Christmas period in Nigeria leads to an insatiable demand for goats. I believe that all goats sweat bullets in December because they know Christmas is just around the corner. I use the catchprhase “sweating like a christmas goat” in reference to anyone who breaks a sweat from heat, exertion or nervousness. On all occasions, laughter immediately ensues after the catchphrase is used.

ChristmasGoat founded in June 2007 is a weblog dedicated to the constant pursuit of “it”. Whatever your “it” is will most definitely require sweat and lots of it. ChristmasGoat will mostly chronical all the various activities I engage in to make “it” happen on a daily basis. My “it”this year is to push my mind, body and spirit to a new, better, and more prosperous existence.

I was born Nigeria, West Africa, raised and educated in London and the USA. I graduated from Tuskegee University in 1998 with a major in Biology and went straight to graduate school at Auburn University both in Alabama. I graduated from Auburn with two Masters Degrees (MBA and Information Systems) in 2000.

I worked as an Information Technology consultant for a software company for two years and then for a major Consulting firm for 3 years after that. I currently work for Ciberstone. My “it” for this year is the constant pursuit of better physical and mental health through nutrition and exercise. I am determined to push my mind and body to the limit for the next 360 days to actually experience what the body can actually do when forced. I will be chronicling it all through videos, pictures, commentary and interviews.
